EIXE is a wine from the duo behind Fedellos, showcasing native red grape varietals that aren't Mencia. The vineyard is based in the Valdeorras on slate soil at an elevation of 500m above sea level. As the case with the other wines from Fedellos, the EIXE uses 100% whole bunches and elevage occurs in one large 3,200L oak foudre.
Eixe is driven by red fruit notes of wild strawberries and red currants, with undertones of native thyme.
